Plan B is one of the most iconic and influential skateboard companies of all time. It was founded in 1991 by professional skaters and friends Mike Ternasky and Brian Johnson, both of whom had previously worked for the legendary Powell-Peralta company. Mike and Brian recruited some of the biggest names in skateboarding to ride for Plan B, including Danny Way, Rodney Mullen, and Colin McKay, among many others. The company’s graphics, videos, and skateboarding products quickly became known for their innovative and high-quality designs, and Plan B became a leader in skateboarding culture. Unfortunately, Mike Ternasky passed away in a car accident in 1994, but the company has since continued to thrive under the leadership of Brian Johnson and new team riders. Overall, Plan B has played a major role in cementing skateboarding as a legitimate and respected sport and art form.
