101 skateboard company is a well-known brand in the skateboarding industry. It was founded in 1991 by skateboarder and artist Natas Kaupas. The brand has a unique style and is known for its edgy graphics and quality skateboard decks. Their team roster has included some of the biggest names in skateboarding, such as Eric Koston, Andrew Reynolds, and Gino Iannucci. What’s interesting about 101 is that it was actually created as a response to the decline of skateboarding during the late 80s and early 90s. Kaupas wanted to bring something fresh and new to the industry, and I think he definitely succeeded!
