Company: DGK (Dirty Ghetto Kids)

DGK is a skateboarding company founded by professional skateboarder Stevie Williams in 2002. The company’s name, Dirty Ghetto Kids, comes from the crew that Stevie grew up skating with in Philadelphia. The brand is known for its urban and hip-hop influences, and their graphics often depict images of urban life and culture.

What I find fascinating about DGK is that they don’t just sell skateboards and clothing, they celebrate the diversity and culture of skateboarding. DGK takes pride in representing and supporting underrepresented communities in and out of skateboarding. They provide a platform for skateboarders of color to have their voices heard and their skills recognized. As a professor of skateboarding, I believe that DGK’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity is something we can all learn from and take inspiration from.

It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.
